Gelatin Silver Print

Gelatin silver prints are still used today for black and white photography. These monochromatic prints can be neutral gray or have a brown, sepia, yellowish, or purplish tone. The surface can range from matte to high gloss and textures can range from smooth to patterned. Silver mirroring is a common way these prints deteriorate and a telltale sign you might have a gelatin silver print.
