126 Instamatic

Kodak introduced the 126 Instamatic film format to the consumer market in 1963 and brought color photography to the masses. It came in a plastic cartridge with two spools and the film is 35mm wide. Even though it’s the same width as 135 film, its easily distinguished by it’s single sprocket hole per square frame.
The name 126 was intended to indicate the frames were 26 × 26mm, but they’re actually 28 × 28mm. 126 film was available in black and white and color for both prints and slides with 12, 20, or 24 exposures per cartridge.
