Chromogenic Print

Color film and prints were introduced by Kodak in 1942 and surpassed black and white in popularity by the 1960s. The print surface ranges from matte to high gloss and the texture can be smooth or textured. Fading can result in a yellow, orange, or red tint.

  • Dimensions: 3.5 × 3 inches, 3.5 × 5 inches, 4 × 6 inches, 5 × 7 inches, and 8 × 10 inches are common; larger prints of 11 × 14 inches, 16 × 20 inches, 20 × 24 inches, 20 × 30 inches, and 24 × 30 inches are also seen, but sizes vary
