Instant Color Print

Instant color prints were introduced by Polaroid in 1963. The picture was never as good as conventional film and color prints, but this new format was self-developing with no skills or equipment in just a few minutes. Kodak also released an instant color photo camera in 1976, but that came to an end in 1990 when they had to pay $909 million for a lost patent-infringement lawsuit to Polaroid. Fujifilm released their Instax format of instant color film in 1998 which is still very popular today.
