microSD

The tiny microSD format was developed by SanDisk and early names included T-Flash and TransFlash before they standardized on microSD. This format is currently the smallest form factor available for digital memory cards, making them popular in mobile phones and GoPro action cameras. Due to their small size, microSD cards are often read with an SD card adapter card that allows them to work in more common computer slots and memory card readers.
