CFast

CFast uses the same form factor as the familiar CompactFlash format, but they’re much faster and use a different connection. This means they can capture more data at faster rates, but they only work in new cameras, require new card readers, and aren’t backwards-compatible with any other formats. Designed for high-resolution cameras and 4k video cameras, the CFast format enjoyed broader camera support and industry adoption than QXD, but support is already waning in favor of the CFExpress format.
