Amazon introduced their Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud storage platform in 2006, and since then many vendors including Apple, Google, Microsoft, Adobe, Box, Dropbox, Flickr, and SmugMug offer cloud storage. Cloud storage takes up no space in your home or office, offers unlimited capacity, and can be accessed anywhere you can connect to the Internet.
